BETTY KURAS
Betty brings over 30 years’ experience in executive search and selection, leadership assessments, talent mapping and HR advisory across the Higher Educations, Corporate and Government sectors.
Betty has extensive experience in managing national and international executive search engagements for C Suite and executive leadership roles. She has successfully completed over 500 senior appointments for some of Australia’s leading organisations. Betty’s background includes developing effective recruitment and talent mapping solutions for business critical roles, managing large-scale recruitment projects and developing tailored leadership capability assessments for a broad range of clients.
Betty has also gained a reputation as a higher education specialist having managed national and international search campaigns and undertaken leadership capability assessments for some of Australia’s leading Universities. Betty has successfully placed candidates into Australian Universities, both locally and in off- shore campus locations across South East Asia.
Prior to founding Kuras Leadership Search, Betty spent 12 years with KPMG, an international professional services firm. As a Director, Betty led the Melbourne Executive Search and Selection team specialising in the Higher Education, Government and Corporate Sectors.
Betty’s success is built on her ability to develop long term relationships with her clients and candidates. Working in partnership with clients, engaging regularly with candidates and developing effective search strategies has earned her a reputation for delivering quality outcomes.
Betty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Melbourne.
